One thought on “Overnight Cruise on the Mekong Delta

  1. Excellent overnight boat trip on the Mekong

One night was not enough. The boat is basic but has everything you need and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke more than one language!

We have visited a small village and saw how people live there and the details of their daily life. We walked through the plantations and saw the pineapple, jack fruit and the star fruit. Lots of different tropical fruits and later we saw how the villagers make sugar cane.

Getting up at 6 am watching the sunrise and the life getting started was one of the best experience on the whole trip. The food was good and boat has a security staying up the whole night to watch.

We didn’t have any problem sleeping or getting up. It was very worthy and I can imagine doing this tour again with other friends.

The whole trip was wonderful and I strongly recommend it as a good break from Ho Chi Minh city traffic!
