ITINERARY BY DAY

DAY 01: SIEM REAP ARRIVAL (L/-)

Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Lunch.  Visit the Artisan D’Angkor, the handicraft center for wood and stone carving processes. Continue visit to Wat Thmey or The Killing field, which contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge. After that, visit the Wat memorial mountain. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 02: SIEM REAP (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, The Bayon Temple, The Royal Enclosure, Phimeanaka, and The Elephant and Leper King terrace. Continue to visit the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. 

After lunch, pay a visit to Thommanan, Chaosay Tevoda, and Ta Keo: a small, attractive temple in very good condition, built at the same time as Angkor Wat. Continue to discover the world’s wonder site – Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple that was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world. Continue to visit Bakheng hill: Sunset viewing on the hilltop. Bakheng is the first major temple to be constructed in the Angkor area; this temple-mountain offers extraordinary views of the Tonle Sap and Angkor Wat. At night, enjoy a buffet dinner with a traditional show (optional). Dinner on your own. Free for visiting the Night & Pub street. Overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 03: SIEM REAP (B/L/-)

Breakfast at hotel.  08:00 Heading out of town, we make our way by travelling on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way we briefly stop at the Preah Dark village and we follow this with a visit the Banteay Samre temple adorned with impressive relief-depicting scenes of Vishunu as well as Krishna legends. Lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, visit the floating village and take a ride by a traditional wooden boat on Tonle Sap lake to experience the human occupations at the edges of the lake is similarly distinctive – floating villages, towering stilled houses, huge fish traps, and an economy and way of life deeply intertwined with the lake, the fish, the wildlife and the cycles of rising and falling waters. In the wet season, the Tonle Sap lake is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Asia.

Early evening, you will be taken by a tuk tuk, a small open-sided taxi common in Cambodia, to cruise around the suburb of Siem Reap and for a blessing ceremony by Buddhist monks for happiness, prosperity and safety for your journey. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

DAY 04: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B/-)

This morning, be free at your own leisure until preparation time to transfer to the airport for your flight departure
